In the middle of the nature in West Jutland (Denmark), on a
beautiful farm between Varde and Ølgod is the Dobergaarden
kennel located. It
is a unique place with many opportunities for our dogs. It
is perhaps
no secret that the Dobermann is my biggest passion. But you will
see when you visit us.
I grew up with this dog breed, and in adult life I have become
more and more grip and
inclusion of these magnificent and
expressive dogs. After
a stay in Serbia for 4 months
some years ago living at kennel Di Altobello and Darkfall's
training school, I was
seriously "bitten" by the exhibition part
and breeding. Since
then I have traveled in much of the Southern
Europe together with Dejan Malbasa who owns Altobello-kennel.

He has always been a formidable teacher and he has
been named as the world's best breeder of
Dobermann. I've
learned a lot from him and feel that I have a good understanding
of breeding and training. I
still have a close cooperation with Dejan Malbasa,
whom over the years also has been the family's personal friend
because of the great common interest for the Dobermann
breed. In
addition to all this, I am also so lucky to have a close
cooperation
with Milos Kovac from Slovenia, international judge and bite
instructor.
Fortunately I share this passion with the rest of my family, Per
my husband and my two, adult sons, Pierre and Jeff - who have
each found their passion too; Pierre’s
great interest is the work of Shepherd Dogs. In particular triggered
the title Junior Champion of Denmark in 2008. And
Jeff has chosen a life with horses as riding master in Germany. I
use all my time with the dogs here, and together with Pierre I
teach on a daily basis at our training area.
In connection with the farm is fenced in 5 acres land
exclusively for dog training and space to move for them. Nature
around the farm is also used extensively. Bike rides with the
dogs and during the summer time we like to go to a nearby lake
and swim with the dogs.
In the days and weekends I participate in and organize various
courses, to get as much new knowledge as possible so our dogs
can get the best of their means. Our
dogs are trained intensively several times a week, both in A, B
and C work (track, obedience and bite work). Moreover,
I train ring training, which is important in the exhibition. The
dogs are trained only on the positive way through the Play & Win
method.

Since the relationship between you and your dog should last for
many years, then the main issue with the breeder is to be
comfortable and have confidence. Therefore,
I give my dogs the best possible upbringing and training before
I use them for breeding - so I can bring the good genes on to
their offspring. My
goal as a breeder is to produce puppies that develop healthy,
with good mentality and mind, beautiful exterior and good
performance.
My
puppies will in their first eight weeks have stimulated all
their senses, be indoor family members, and being made ready to
leave home with a good dose of confidence and curiosity towards
the new world.
